House Deputy Speaker Cebu 5th district Rep. Vincent Franco "Duke" Frasco recently led the distribution of P4,575,000 worth of cash assistance or "ayuda" to residents of the Camotes Islands.

According to a Facebook post from Frasco on Holy Wednesday, March 27, a total of 1,517 people from all four municipalities of San Francisco, Tudela, Pilar and Poro of the Camotes Islands benefitted from the distribution.

"Mayor Al Arquillano and Mayor Jojo Solante expressed their gratitude to Congressman Duke Frasco for the love and care Cong. Duke Frasco has always demonstrated to the people of Camotes as evidenced through his many programs and projects that have helped thousands of people and have uplifted the lives of the people Camotes and the entire 5th district of Cebu," the post read.

Accompanying the deputy speaker during the event was his wife, Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Christina Frasco of Team Frasco.
