Children with disabilities receive gift packs from Caloocan LGU
Children with disabilities from different areas in Caloocan City received gift packs from the local government on Tuesday, March 26.
Through the initiatives of the Persons with Disabilities Affairs Office (PDAO), all registered PWDs below 18 years old were given the gift pack.
“Sa Caloocan, walang Batang Kankaloo ang maiiwan. Sa simula pa lang, ito na po ang hangarin natin na lahat ng ating mga kababayan, anuman ang estado sa buhay, ay maging kabahagi ng patuloy na pag-unlad ng ating lungsod (In Caloocan, no Batang Kankaloo will be left behind. From the very beginning, it has been our desire that all our citizens, regardless of their status in life, be part of the continuous development of our city),” Mayor Along Malapitan said.

“Kaya asahan niyo pong nakatutok ang ating pamahalaan upang mas mapaglingkuran pa po kayo at maibigay ang inyong mga pangangailangan, at mas sinisikap pa po nating palawigin ang ating mga programa para sa sektor ng mga may kapansanan (You can expect our government to focus on serving you better and providing for your needs, and we are working harder to expand our programs for the disabled sector),” he added.
The said each gift pack contains milk, oatmeal, and snacks.
The city government also prioritized income opportunities for vulnerable sectors, including livelihood distribution programs for PWDs, senior citizens, and solo parents.
