Parañaque announces road closures for Good Friday processions

The Parañaque Traffic and Parking Management Office (TPMO) announced that roads in some areas in the city will be closed for the conduct of processions on Good Friday.
According to Parañaque Mayor Eric Olivarez, the TPMO will implement road closure for the procession that will start at St. Andrew’s Cathedral on Good Friday.
Olivarez said the procession that will start at 4:30 p.m. will pass Quirino Avenue in Don Galo going to Juan Gabriel St., to S. de Guzman St., to Balagtas St.
The procession will also pass San Dionisio going to Victor Medina St. (Kabihasnan) then to A. Bonifacio St. to Tramo going to M.H. del Pilar and will end at St. Andrew’s Cathedral.

The mayor said the San Antonio de Padua Church will also conduct a procession starting at 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The procession will be passing San Antonio Avenue going to Dr. A. Santos Avenue to Green Heights Avenue and Sanchez Avenue.

The Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish will also hold the Santo Intierro Procession on Good Friday starting at 5:00 p.m.
The mayor said the procession will start at Dr. A. Santos Avenue and will pass Villanueva Village going to R. Medina Village, to Gatchalian I and Fortunata Village, then to Dela Cruz Compound, passing Fountain Breeze Condominium, Filinvest Classic Estate, Villa Lourdes Village, and Clarmen Village.
Olivarez advised motorist to take alternative routes in going to their destinations while the processions are ongoing.
