Pasay LGU sets up 20 assistance desks for Holy Week activities

The Pasay City government has set up 20 assistance desks to be manned by quick response teams to help and guide the public during the observance of Holy Week.
Pasay Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano met on Tuesday, March 26, the officials of Pasay City Police, Bureau of Fire, City Engineering, City Health Office, Pasay City Environment and Natural Resources Office, Public Order and Safety Unit, Traffic and Parking Management Office, Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office, Pasay City Tricycle and Pedicab Franchising Office, to tackle the security measures for the Holy Week.
Aside from the 20 assistance desks, Rubiano also ordered the deployment of response teams to the city’s 12 churches to assist visitors who will be holding their Visita Iglesia, and during the conduct of Holy Mass and procession.
Rubiano ordered the deployment of security personnel to seven bus terminals in the city and at the NAIA to protect the passengers who are travelling to provinces for the Lenten break.
