7,309 examinees pass March 2024 medical technologists licensure exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, March 27 said 7,309 out of 9,068 examinees, or 80 percent, passed the March 2024 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination (MTLE).

Jeency Agujar Pilapil of Cebu Doctors University was the top scorer in the March 2024 MTLE, with an average of 93 percent.
The March 2024 MTLE was administered by the Board of Medical Technology, headed by Chairman Marilyn A. Cabal-Barza and member Leila Lany M. Florento.

The examination was held from March 21 to 22 in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Meanwhile, PRC said "those who failed to pass the board examination for Medical Technology but had obtained a general rating of at least 70 percent can register as Medical Laboratory Technician."
Oathtaking
Successful examinees interested in participating in the face-to-face mass oath-taking must register no later than noon on the day preceding the scheduled oath-taking date. Register at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.
For those unable to attend the mass oath-taking, the option to join the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking is available. The schedule will be posted on the official website once confirmed.
To schedule an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph, choose "e-OATH" as the transaction.
Online registration will close five calendar days before the online oath-taking day.
Furthermore, inductees must print the "Oath of Professional" form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.
After the oath-taking, inductees should proceed with the Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.
