BUTUAN CITY – Three-hundred twenty-three policemen in Surigao del Sur were promoted on Monday, March 25.
Their oath-taking and donning of ranks were held at the Surigao del Sur Provincial Police Office (SDSPPO) Covered Court in Camp Vicente L. Pimentel Sr. in Tandag City.

Promoted were one lieutenant colonel, three majors, two captains, 13 lieutenants, 22 executive master sergeants, 36 chief master sergeants, 30 senior master sergeants, 75 master sergeants, 96 staff sergeants, and 45 corporals.
The event was spearheaded by SDSPPO Director Police Col. Harry B. Domingo.
Domingo said getting the promotion does not only bring glory and honor but also a greater obligation and accountability to the people in the community.
