The Sagay City gymnasium located at the plaza complex is a fully air-conditioned venue with a 1,500 seating capacity.

It has a wooden maple basketball court flooring, sports clinic, performer’s holding area, sports stable and fitness gym, locker with shower, ticket booth, and audio room.

The gym can be a venue for sports, cultural activities, and medium-size meetings, conventions, and events.

The NBI clearance center at the Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri building is the only clearance center outside of this city and Negros Occidental.

NBI Director Medardo de Lemos, who graced the opening of the NBI clearance center, said that he plans to create another NBI district in the province to fast-track the issuance of NBI clearances.

“If the NBI will have an extra resource, we will pour it to Sagay City,” De Lamos said.

Mayor Narciso Javelosa Jr. thanked the NBI for making the clearance center possible.

The opening of these two facilities highlighted the celebration of the 28th Sinigayan Festival in the city this month with the theme “Festival of Many Causes.”
