Members of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Batasan Police Station (PS 6) seized a total of P544,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City, on March 26.

Police identified the suspect as Percival Alegria, 40, a resident of Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City.
PS 6 operatives conducted a buy-bust operation at around 4:15 a.m, after a concerned citizen tipped off the drug peddling activity of the suspect.
A police officer posed as a buyer and successfully bought P500 worth of shabu from the suspect, which led to his arrest.
Authorities confiscated from the suspect around 80 grams of shabu worth P544,000 and a .380-caliber Colt pistol with four live bullets, a caliber .380 improvised revolver with three live bullets, a cell phone, a black belt bag, and the buy-bust money.
Police said the suspect will be charged for violating Republic Act (R.A.) 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002,
