Muntinlupa LGU to set up 'Lakbay Alalay' stations for Holy Week travelers
The Muntinlupa City government, together with the Philippine National Police, will set up “Lakbay Alalay” stations in four strategic locations to assist travelers during Holy Week.
According to the Muntinlupa Public Information Office (PIO), the “Semana Santa Lakbay Alalay 2024” will be implemented in coordination with the PNP, the Muntinlupa Department of Disaster Resilience and Management (DDRM), Public Order and Safety Office (POSO), City Health Office (CHO) and barangays.

The four “Lakbay Alalay” stations will be at Pacwood, Barangay Tunasan; Caltex station in Barangay Poblacion; Mary Mother of God in Barangay Bayanan; and South Park Center in Barangay Alabang.
Each station will offer free water, first aid, portalet station, traffic assistance, PNP Help Desk, and free blood pressure checkup.
Mayor Ruffy Biazon said the Muntinlupa Police are on heightened status for Holy Week.
The Muntinlupa City Fire Station will be on heightened alert status (Code Blue) until March 26 and will be on full alert status (Code Red) from March 27 to 31.
On March 28, he said, the City Health Office will have a first aid station at Putatan Main Health Center from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
PNP and POSO personnel will be deployed to ensure the safety of the public.
The Muntinlupa Traffic Management Bureau will implement crowd control during the Lenten Season.
"Our priority is the safe and peaceful commemoration of Holy Week," said Biazon.
