Chery Tiggo overcame an opening set stumble as it turned back a fiesty Nxled side, 23-25, 25-23, 25-16, 25-20, for a third straight victory in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City on Tuesday, March 26.

The troika of Mylene Paat, Eya Laure and Ces Robles finished in double figures for the Crossovers as they followed up their morale-boosting triumphs over the Creamline Cool Smashers and the Petro Gazz Angels to improve their win-loss record to 5-2.
The win also tied them with the Angels.
Paat and Robles conspired for 22 of the team’s 60 kills to finish with 15 and 11 points, respectively, while Laure took charge of their defense by nailing four blocks for 12 points as Chery Tiggo doused Nxled’s offensive fire headed by Ivy Lacsina, Lycha Ebon, Camille Victoria and Jho Maraguinot.
Lacsina’s 20-point production, as well as the combined 37-point output of Ebon, Victoria and Maraguinot went down the drain as the Chameleons failed to sustain their hot start, no thanks to their erratic plays.
Nxled fell to its fifth defeat in six games to sink deeper in the cellar.
