CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Two-thousand, two-hundred forty-two Police Regional Office-Cordillera police officers were promoted on Monday, March 25.

Their oath-taking and donning of ranks were led by Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., PRO-Cordillera director, in this camp.
Promoted were two lieutenant colonels, eight majors, 46 captains, 102 lieutenants, 101 executive master sergeants, 274 chief master sergeants, 428 senior master sergeants, 897 master sergeants, and 190 corporals.
Peredo congratulated the promotees and stressed the higher responsibility of their new rank.
He urged them to maintain the standard of being “the most disciplined cops” at all times.
The promotees comprise 25 percent of the 8,400 personnel of the PRO-Cordillera and this was the
highest number of police officers to be promoted in a single program in the country.
