CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – One-thousand, seven-hundred thirty-eight policemen assigned to the Police Regional Office-13 were promoted on Monday, March 25.

PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft led the oath-taking, donning, and pinning of ranks of nine majors, 16 captains, 16 lieutenants, 76 executive master sergeants, 94 chief master sergeants, 166 senior master sergeants, 124 master sergeants, staff sergeants, corporals, and 242 patrolmen and patrolwomen.
Members of the PRO-13 Promotion Board, including Jennifer Hazel Racaza-Patete, chief, Technical Services Division, National Police Commission, co-chairperson, were recognized for their dedication to the success of the promotion process.
“Your dedication, hard work, and commitment to serving and protecting our community will deserve these recognition and promotion,” Kraft said.
“We should be able to contribute meaningfully to our country’s fight against criminality, illegal drugs, terrorism, and threats to peace and order.”
“Remember that obtaining that new rank on your shoulders and arms reminds you to give back to our countrymen a kind of service that they also deserve,” Kraft added.
Kraft told the promotees to always uphold the values of integrity, discipline, professionalism, and compassion. “Always uphold the law and make a difference in the community that you are serving.”
The oath-taking was witnessed by the families, parents, relatives, and friends of the promotees.
