Tot drowns on river on Palm Sunday

INFANTA, Quezon – A three-year-old boy drowned on a river in a resort on the Agos River in Barangay Magsaysay here on Palm Sunday.

Police identified the victim as Reymark Ruzol, a resident of Purok Matapat, Barangay Agos-Agos, this town.

Investigation said that the victim and his family went to the Agos River to celebrate a friend's birth anniversary.

The victim and other children proceeded to the shallow part of the river to play while his father prepared food.

A few minutes later, an individual informed them that the body of a child was floating on the river. He was retrieved and identified as Reymark.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.

The concerned citizen reported the incident to the police.
