Just when Letran needed motivation to complete its title-retention bid in Game 3 of the NCAA juniors basketball finals against the persistent Perpetual, Kerby Raymundo took the task and visited the Squires dugout at halftime.

Raymundo's words of wisdom surely ignited the fire and kept the boys from Intramuros hot and deadly in the next two quarters to finish off Junior Altas with a convincing win.
The former PBA star, who led the Knights to two championships in the late 1990s, gave the dribblers pieces of advice in his short talk.
“No. 1 going to this championship kailangan may disiplina on both ends, opensa and depensa, hindi pwedeng padalos-dalos dito,” the four-time PBA champ told the Squires.
“And lastly, ibigay mo na lahat kaalaman mo sa basketball, kasi game three na ito eh di mo na mababalikan 'to,” he added.
Letran head coach Allen Ricardo expressed his gratitude to Raymundo for taking his time to visit and watch his alma mater.
“Maraming salamat pare sa pagdating, galing pang Bataan ‘yan, I really appreciate your time and effort coming here sa game and nagbigay ng talk sa mga bata,” Ricardo said.
Ricardo also emphasized that being a part of the Letran community is a duty, noting that some of his players might return to their school to do the same thing like what Raymundo and Kevin Alas did.
“Sooner or later, eight years from now, kayo naman babalik sa Letran to give talk and to give advice na ano ‘yong mga pinagdaanan na mga trials na masi-share nila para mauplift ‘yong mga bata, ‘yong future generations.”
