Led by founder Rosanna Aranaz, Sunspell was established in 2021. Inspired by her need for dependable jewelry, the London College of Fashion graduate envisioned a brand that presents pieces that can be worn everywhere and anytime without worrying about damage.

“I love the beach and I love wearing accessories so when I discovered that this type of jewelry exists when I was traveling abroad, I was pleasantly surprised,” Rosanna says. “I never thought I’d stumble into elegant pieces that were non-tarnish, hypoallergenic, and affordable, and I didn’t have to take them off when I swim, take a bath, or work out. That inspired me to create Sunspell so I can create and design accessories for those who love to complete a look with pieces they
never have to take off whenever they sweat or swim.”

Sunspell’s are meant to be with its wearers’ fun moments, adding a subtle glamor and character to their ensembles. To do that, the brand curates water, sweat, and tarnish-resistant jewelry pieces that are made out of stainless steel. What makes its products unique is that they undergo Physical Vapor Deposition, a special 18k gold coating process. According to the brand, the process makes its pieces more durable, hence, they are unlikely to oxide, rust, fade, or turn your skin green.

The brand’s pride also lies in its pricing. Sunspell wants girls—even boys—to wear its pieces without burning a hole in their pockets. While its pieces are budget-friendly, that doesn’t mean it lacks style. With just a quick scroll on its Instagram page, one can discover how elegant, playful, and charming its pieces are.

A testament to that is its attest release dubbed “The Heatwave.” Perfect for this season’s dressing, the collection features 40 pieces, in silver and 18k gold coating, inviting everyone to look their best as they bask under the sun.
