Slim chance for LPA to form, enter PAR on Holy Week—PAGASA
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Monday, March 25, said there is a slim chance for a low pressure area (LPA) to form or enter the country’s area of responsibility (PAR) on Holy Week.

Meanwhile, the easterlies remain the dominant weather system mainly affecting the eastern section of the country.
PAGASA said the easterlies or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean may bring eastern Visayas and Caraga cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned the public of flash floods or landslides that may occur in times of moderate to heavy rains.
In Metro Manila and the rest of the country, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will also be experienced due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
It also warned the public of flash floods or landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms.
