The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), in observance of the Holy Week 2024, warned the public to reduce doing activities outside particularly when the temperatures are highest at 12 noon to 4 p.m.

PAGASA said if going outdoors cannot be avoided, drinking water regularly, staying and resting in shaded areas from time to time, and wearing light-colored clothing can be done to prevent the body from fatigue, heat cramps, and heat exhaustion.
In PAGASA’s statement on Monday, March 25, it said the easterlies or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean will be the dominant weather system in the country.
On Tuesday, March 26, cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be felt in Quezon and Aurora, while the skies of Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chances of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
From March 27 to 31, PAGASA said generally fair weather conditions will be experienced in the country with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in the eastern section.
