Lito “Thunder Kid” Adiwang believes that a trilogy is imminent between ONE Strawweight MMA World Champion Joshua “The Passion” Pacio and Jarred “The Monkey God” Brooks but he’d be interested in an interim World Title opportunity to keep the division moving.

It was a controversial end to the World Title clash between Pacio and Brooks as the American got disqualified 56 seconds into the bout after an inadvertent illegal slam knocked Pacio out unconscious.
“I speak for all MMA fans that we want to see the trilogy happen ASAP once Joshua is cleared to fight,” he said.
“If Joshua takes time to recover, then it’s best to get an interim World Title fight to see who’ll meet Joshua when he returns.”
Nonetheless, he really felt for both athletes who he knew didn’t deserve that type of outcome.
Adiwang knows the type of sacrifices that fighters go through, especially with the type of competitive fire that both men bring to the table.
“It was sad both to see Joshua win, and Jarred lose his belt, that way. I’m just happy to know that Joshua is okay and he walked away without any serious injuries,” he shared.
“I felt really bad about the outcome. They trained hard to give us a good show, championship level fight unfortunately it turned out that way. I want to see them run it back.”
If there’s one positive that came out of this predicament for the “Thunder Kid” it’s the fact that people were able to see who Brooks truly is.
When fans think of the name “Jarred Brooks,” what they think of immediately is a brash, arrogant showman, but Adiwang has always seen through him.
Deep inside, he knows that Brooks is, and has always been, a good person.
“Seeing Jarred Brooks after the defeat shows who he is. Deep inside he’s a good man. Before the fights, he does his thing to promote the fight and gain attention for it but (in those instances) his real self will always come out,” he said.
“It came out after the fight, he was really concerned about Joshua’s situation. That’s who he is, a good and humble family guy.”
