This means that these personnel will have no days off or leaves during the Lenten season, Police Lt. Col. Ronnie Brillo, administrative officer for the office of the city director of the BCPO, said.
Brillo said that strengthened police presence will be implemented in shopping malls, churches, public transport terminals, sea ports, resorts, streets, and other strategic areas in this city.
He said that police assistance desks will also be put up for quick response while the Mobile Patrol Group will be tasked to conduct roving patrol in residential areas as part of their crime prevention measures.
Random checkpoint operations will also be conducted to ensure the safety of people going in and out of this city, he added.
Brillo said that there will be enough personnel for administrative work in offices and headquarters.
