ILOILO CITY – A P12-million super health center is under construction in Lambunao town, Iloilo province.
Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go, chairman of the Senate Committee on Health, led the March 22 groundbreaking in Barangay Pasig.

It is funded through the Health Facility Enhancement Program of the Department of Health (DOH) and will be a medium-sized poly-clinic.
The super health center gives another option for residents to avail of medical services such as birthing, dental, ultrasound, and vaccination aside from the Dr. Ricardo Y. Ladrido Memorial District Hospital in Lambunao.
Go lauded the family of Rufino “Pinoy” Gonzales II for donating the plot of land where the medical facility is being constructed.
Also present during the groundbreaking were Mayor Reynor Gonzales, Vice Mayor Arvin Losaria, the town council, actor Phillip Salvador, Dr. Pacita Gonzalez, and DOH-6 (Western Visayas) Regional Director Dr. Adriano Suba-an.
