P14.2-M shabu seized in Sorsogon

LEGAZPI CITY, Albay â€“ Authorities seized 2.1 kilos of suspected shabu valued at P14.2 million in a buy-bust operation in Baranggay Hidhid, Matnog, Sorsogon on Saturday afternoon, March 23.

TWO suspected drug pushers were nabbed and shabu valued at P14.2 million was seized in Sorsogon on March 23. (PNP Kasurog Bicol)

Police Lt. Col. Malu Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Police Regional Office-5 (Bicol), identified the suspects as Lanao del Sur residents and high-value individuals Pan and Ham.

PRO-5 chief Police Brig. Gen Andre Dizon commended operating units for their achievement.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bicol said the seized shabu came from Metro Manila.

Drug evidence is in the custody of PDEA-Bicol and suspects who face related cases are detained at the Matnog police station.
