LEGAZPI CITY, Albay – Authorities seized 2.1 kilos of suspected shabu valued at P14.2 million in a buy-bust operation in Baranggay Hidhid, Matnog, Sorsogon on Saturday afternoon, March 23.

Police Lt. Col. Malu Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Police Regional Office-5 (Bicol), identified the suspects as Lanao del Sur residents and high-value individuals Pan and Ham.
PRO-5 chief Police Brig. Gen Andre Dizon commended operating units for their achievement.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bicol said the seized shabu came from Metro Manila.
Drug evidence is in the custody of PDEA-Bicol and suspects who face related cases are detained at the Matnog police station.
