BACOLOD CITY – A game farm caretaker was shot dead in front of his live-in partner in Barangay Concepcion, Talisay City, Negros Occidental on Friday, March 22.

Police identified the victim as 29-year-old Felix Baylocon.
Police Major Wilfredo Benoman Jr., deputy chief of the Talisay City Police Station, said the victim was having coffee with his common-law wife in the game farm when the 21-year-old suspect, a job order casual employee, arrived and shot him.
His live-in partner was unharmed.
The victim sustained two bullet wounds in the left shoulder and neck.
Benoman said the suspect was arrested in Barangay Granada here hours after the incident.
He said the suspect was sighted in the area during a dragnet operation through the description provided by a witness who positively identified him.
Recovered from the suspect was a .38 caliber revolver with four bullets and a holster. He will be subjected to a paraffin test.
Police have yet to establish the motive of the incident but murder charges will be filed against the suspect.
