Netizens are angry at Kim Sae-ron for uploading the photo with Kim Soo-hyun, who is currently starring in the hit drama “Queen of Tears” as the husband of actress Kim Ji-won.

In April last year, the Seoul Central District Court found Kim Sae-ron guilty of drunk driving and fined her 20 million won (about $14,900).

The case stemmed from an incident on May 18, 2022 when a drunk Kim Sae-ron was driving in Cheongdam, Gangnam in Seoul. She crashed her car and hit a guardrail, tree and a transformer.

When she hit the transformer, it caused a power outage affecting 57 business establishments in the area for three hours.

She drove away but was caught by the police. She refused to take a breathalyzer and asked the police for her to undergo a blood alcohol test and was taken to a nearby hospital. Her blood sample showed that her blood alcohol content (BAC) was 0.2 percent on the day of the car accident, which, under Korea’s law, merited the revocation of her driver’s license.

Kim Sae-ron, star of the dramas “The Great Shaman Ga Doo-shim” and movie “A Man from Nowhere,” was charged by the prosecution for drunk driving.

Meanwhile, episode 5 of “Queen of Tears” on March 23 got first-place ratings among cable TV programs of 10.964% nationwide in South Korea, and 12.197 percent in the metropolitan area.

Here are comments from Korean netizens on an article about the Kim Sae-ron, Kim Soo-hyun photo, according to Netizen Buzz:

- “My vote goes to this not being posted by mistake”

- “Everyone knows the story of how they used to date in the past and that's how Kim Sae Ron got him into her agency”

- “Why would she even post this? Is it because everyone's going crazy over how good he looks with Kim Ji Won and she got jealous?”

- “She's still only 24 now, how young was she when they were dating”

- “There were a ton of rumors in the past about them dating, I guess they were all true. Either way, they broke up way before even her drunk driving scandal so I don't know why she'd post this so randomly now unless she's been seeing him recently and she's jealous about all the attention his drama's been getting.”

- “His drama's no joke right now ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ she totally just threw cold water all over the viewers”

- “Wow this is devastating for the drama considering it is at its peak popularity right now ㅋㅋㅋㅋ what a b*tch ㅋㅋㅋ”

- “Pissed as hell at everyone raving over his chemistry with Kim Ji Won”

- “She must be jealous that everyone thinks he looks good with kim Ji Won ㅋ making it clear that ‘this man is mine.’ Both her and Han So Hee have a lot to work on”
