Child's cadaver found in Ilocos Sur beach

The cadaver of a child was found on a beach in Barangay Darapidap, Candon City, Ilocos Sur on Saturday, March 23.

Police Lt. Col. Jessie Balinang, Candon City chief of police, said that they are conducting an investigation to identify the victim and the persons responsible for dumping the body.

Lawmen are checking surveillance camera footages in the area and verifying records of pregnant women in Barangay Darapidap and nearby villages to identify the victim.
