A total of 102 couples exchanged “I do’s” in a mass wedding offered by the Las Piñas City government on Friday, March 22.
Las Piñas Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the city government offered free wedding rites to 102 couples who are living together without the blessing of matrimony.
Aguilar said the program was part of the activities offered by the city government in celebration of the 27th cityhood anniversary on March 27.
She said Vice-Mayor April Aguilar officiated the wedding held at the Verdant covered court in Barangay Pamplona Tres as part of the city’s initiative to provide accessible services.

In her message, the vice-mayor highlighted the importance of values in nurturing relationships.
She said by holding the mass wedding, the city not only provides a memorable experience for the newlyweds but also reinforces its role in supporting strong family foundations, which are essential values in community development.
