For years, Laguna has been one of the go-to destinations of Manila dwellers seeking respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is where modern living merges with countryside charm, thanks to its mix of lush landscapes and industrial and commercial sectors. But with the country’s capital becoming increasingly busy and congested, many Filipinos aren’t just looking at the area as an escape but a place to build a life where families, work, and nature play in complete harmony.

Masterplanned township

Aiming to help Filipinos achieve that dream is premier real estate developer Federal Land, Inc. with its newest masterplanned township Meadowcrest in Biñan, Laguna. The township is a 48-hectare multi-use, fully-integrated neighborhood set to offer a distinct lifestyle and business environment with its commercial hubs, social nooks, and garden greenways. Its pride lies in its 15-minute urban planning concept, making it perfect for strolling and biking with its dedicated bike lanes and parklets, allowing people to connect more with others and be one with nature.

Inspired by Hygge

With connection and convenience in mind, Hartwood Village’s design draws its inspiration from the Danish concept of hygge. Defined as “a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or wellbeing,” hygge is a design concept first seen in Denmark and Norway in the 1800s. It is all about creating an inviting, simple space where people can chill and celebrate the small things in life. It merges rustic elements and earth tones with modern flair, bringing a sense of belonging to nature and evoking positive emotions.

Hygge focuses on creating a welcoming and serene environment. The design concept presents an ideal environment that helps enrich people’s lives and allows everyone to be at their best in other aspects of living resulting in overall contentment. Through it, Hartwood Village promises a tranquil living space where residents can thrive and live full lives.

Hartwood Village’s Phase 1 will have an initial offering of choice 110 prime lots, following hygge’s design principles, which center on coziness, simplicity, and contentment. The residential development aims to present a well-thought-out neighborhood plan, seamlessly connecting houses with social spaces and recreational grounds.

Harmony with nature

Nature also plays a vital role in hygge’s design concept in fostering a harmonious relationship between people and their surroundings. To mirror that, Hartwood Village will be dotted with green areas, creating an open space network where every corner will be a mere 150 meters from the nearest quiet pocket park. These green spaces are suited for mingling with neighbors or some alone time with nature. At Hartwood Village, residents will have the everyday pleasure of enjoying wide open space and clear skies, breathe in fresh air, and marvel at lush rolling terrain skirting the area.

A nurturing environment

Right at the heart of Hartwood Village is what can be defined as an urban oasis—the Central Amenity Park. A true haven for its residents, the park will be composed of various features suited to the various lifestyle needs of its residents. It will house the village’s Clubhouse, a multi- purpose place for residents to make meaningful connections. The Clubhouse is set to have a multi- function hall for big celebrations, two function rooms for more intimate gatherings, a game room, and a meeting room for business events.

The 1.1-hectare park is also envisioned to be a hub for outdoor activities. There, families can create more joyful moments together under the sun at its lap pool and children’s pool. Little ones will have a good time at its Playscape. Residents can get active in its multi-purpose court. Fit for leisurely walks and relaxation is its Great Lawn. There is also a place for people and their fur babies to explore thanks to its pet park. And residents can meditate and find their inner Zen in its pocket garden and meditation area.

The intimate footprint of the residential development will allow for a village design centered on pedestrian mobility, with walkways seamlessly weaving through the community. Navigating the roads of Hartwood Village will be a breeze, thanks to a thoughtfully planned road network complete with convenient parking bays along the main road.

Gateway to different cities

One of the advantages of Hartwood Village’s location is that it is adjacent to key cities in Luzon. Right at the backdoor of the residential development are Makati Central Business District, Pasay City, and NAIA. It is also strategically positioned just 3.2 km from CALAX Laguna Technopark Interchange and 8.4 km from SLEX Sta. Rosa Exit, making it close to premier institutions and business zones, such as The Medical City South Luzon, Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club, De La Salle University-Laguna Campus, and Laguna’s rising business district Broadfield, among others.

With idyllic space, smart location, and people-centered design, Hartwood Village in Meadowcrest in Biñan, Laguna is where Filipinos can build a life of fulfillment and contentment.
