Marcos condemns ISIS attack in Moscow

President Marcos is one with the rest of the world in condemning Friday's heinous attack on Crocus Hall in Moscow, Russia, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of several individuals and damage to properties.

In an X post on Saturday evening, March 23, the President said he was saddened by what he called a "senseless act of terrorism," and commiserated with those affected by it.
"I am profoundly saddened by the innocent lives lost in the horrific ISIS attack at the concert hall in Moscow," he wrote.
"My deepest condolences to the families affected by this senseless act of terrorism. We stand united in condemning terrorism in all its forms," he added.

ISIS reportedly took responsibility for the attack, although it did not provide evidence to support such a claim.
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported on Saturday that there were no Filipinos affected by the attack.
It, however, advised the Filipino community in Russia to remain vigilant.
"We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved families and wish the injured people speedy recovery," the DFA said.
