Hot, humid weather with rain showers to be expected due to easterlies
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Saturday, March 23, said as the northeast monsoon season was officially terminated, the warm easterlies became the dominant weather system affecting the archipelago.

In PAGASA’s latest live broadcast, weather specialist Daniel James Villamil said hot and humid weather will persist particularly at noon time, while rain showers may still be expected.
“For the next 24 hours, makakaranas ng mga pag-ulan sa silangang bahagi ng Luzon, samantala sa Metro Manila at sa nalalabing bahagi ng bansa ay mas maaliwalas na panahon ang inaasahan, mainit at maalinsangan na may tyansa ng pulo-pulong pag-ulan na may pagkulog at pagkidlat na dulot ng localized thunderstorms (For the next 24 hours, rains will be experienced in the east portion of Luzon, while in Metro Manila and the rest of the country, generally fair weather, hot and humid with chances of isolated rain showers with thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms),” Villamil said.
Based on the PAGASA’s extended weather outlook from March 24 to 26, the actual air temperature in some key areas is 24–32°C in Metro Manila, 24-32° in Legazpi City, 14–24°C in Baguio City, 25–32°C in Metro Cebu, 26–32°C in Iloilo City, 25–31°C in Tacloban City, 24–33°C in Metro Davao, 24–35°C in Zamboanga City, and 24–32°C in Cagayan de Oro City.
