2 wanted persons nabbed in Pasay and Paranaque

Two men wanted for criminal cases were arrested in separate operations conducted by Pasay and ParaÃ±aque police on Friday, March 22.

The arrested suspects were identified as Symon Cyrkhit Cunanan, 22, and Joseph Jalmasco, 48.

Cunanan, who was charged with rape and tagged as Top 4 wanted person at district level, was arrested at around 1:10 p.m. on Cabrera St. in Barangay 98, Pasay City.

Cunanan was nabbed by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jehan Batua Sampao-Hassiman of Pasay City Family Court Branch 11. He was immediately detained after his arrest.

Jalmasco was nabbed at around 1:00 p.m.by members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section in ParaÃ±aque City to serve his sentence for a case of slander by deed.

The arrest order for Jalmasco was issued on Feb. 15, 2024 by Judge Karen Christine Santos Red-Lock of ParaÃ±aque City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 89.

The suspect was immediately detained at the ParaÃ±aque City police custodial facility pending the issuance of commitment order from the court.
