2 siblings nabbed in Pangasinan drug bust

AGUILAR, Pangasinan – Two siblings were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion here on Friday, March 22.

Seized from the suspects – an adult identified as Vernie and a minor both from Benguet – were 12 kilos of suspected dried marijuana valued at P1.4 million.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Pangasinan led the operation that also yielded a motorcycle and the boodle money.

Inventory and markings of pieces of evidence were done on-site in the presence of mandatory witnesses and the suspects.
