The bodies of two men riddled with bullets were found along the road in Sitio Ahas, Brgy. Camachin, Doña Remedios Trinidad (DRT), Bulacan on Thursday, March 21.
Based on the reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the victims were identified as Jayson Placio Flores, 34; and Roberto Sison Sabado, 29, both of Sitio Proper, Brgy. Camachin, DRT.
Personnel of the DRT municipal police station swiftly responded to the scene and secured the area.
Investigation revealed that the victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds all over their bodies. The fired cartridge cases from an unidentified firearm were discovered near the victims.
Police said Robinson Pascual Reyes, who serves as the caretaker of a hotel in the area, discovered the lifeless bodies and immediately reported it to the authorities at around 9:30 a.m.
The Bulacan PNP immediately issued a flash alarm and initiated a dragnet operation to locate the suspects behind the grisly crime. The Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) from the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit has been requested to process the crime scene thoroughly.
The Bulacan PNP urged the community to remain vigilant and to report to authorities any unusual activities in their communities.
