CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The Police Regional Office-13 received 22 brand-new patrol vehicles on Thursday, March 21.
These – 21 4x2 cab Toyota Hilux patrol jeeps and one 4x4 Mitsubishi Strada personnel carrier – were turned over during a ceremony at the police regional headquarters in this camp.

The PRO-13 said these will enhance police response against crime.
“The deployment of these patrol cars is part of the ongoing capability enhancement program of the Philippine National Police (PNP),” said PRO 13-Regional Public Information Office (RPIO) chief Police Major Jennifer S. Ometer. “This is a big help in our non-stop and all-out drive against all forms of criminality.”
PNP Director for Logistics Police Major Gen. Mario A. Reyes, representing PNP chief Police Gen. Benjamin C. Acorda Jr., handed over the keys of these vehicles to the command group headed by regional director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft.
Reyes, guest of honor and speaker, urged police personnel to utilize the resources effectively and efficiently for the betterment of the community.
Kraft thanked Acorda for these vehicles and vowed that these assets shall improve the delivery of services, intensify the campaign against criminality and insurgency, and enhance the feeling of public safety.
“These additional new assets will surely intensify our campaign against criminality and insurgency, and also enhance the Caraganons public safety.”
Kraft said the Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office (PPO) received three, Surigao del Norte PPO, six; Surigao del Sur PPO, nine, and Dinagat Islands PPO, three.
Regional Pastoral Office Chaplin Police Major Lorenzo Ruga blessed the patrol cars.
