ILOILO CITY – Police arrested a drug pusher and seized shabu worth P1 million in a buy-bust operation in this city on March 21.
Police identified the suspect as Estanislao Henojales, alias Shaolin.

SUSPECTED shabu worth more than P1 million was seized from suspected drug pusher Estanislao Henojales in Iloilo City. (PNP ICPO-CDEU)
Recovered by the Iloilo City Police Office-City Drug Enforcement Unit (ICPO-CDU) led by Police Lt. Col. Antonio Benitez Jr. from Henojales, considered a high-value individual, (HVI), was 150 grams of suspected shabu.
The CDEU was backed in the operation by the ICPO-Molo Police Station and the Iloilo Maritime Police Station.
Henojales was imprisoned for a separate drug case but was released last year.
The suspect yielded shabu worth P1 million but the ICPO-CDEU estimated its street value at around P3 million when sold by drug pushers.
Police Col. Joeresty Coronica, ICPO director, had earlier said that high volume of seized shabu means that the police are doing its job by intercepting the supply chain.
He lauded residents for providing information suspected drug personalities to the police.
Henojales faces charges of violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Drugs Act of 2002.
