Korean Cultural Center PH, Korea Tourism Organization Manila to hold 'K-Beauty Hangout'

The Korean Cultural Center (KCC) in the Philippines and Korea Tourism Organization Manila Office (KTO-Manila), in collaboration with Jenny House, AMOREPACIFIC Philippines, and SM Aura, are thrilled to announce its first-ever beauty event, “K-Beauty Hangout”, that will be held next month.

Scheduled to take place on April 12 at Book Nook, Level 3, Atrium of SM Aura in Taguig, the event promises a day filled with beauty exploration, education, and hands-on experiences, running from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission is free, and participants are invited to immerse themselves in the world of K-beauty (Korean beauty) through various booths and an enlightening lecture by a distinguished makeup artist from Jenny House, Korea.

Jenny House, a trailblazing beauty salon with over two decades of history, is renowned for its comprehensive services in hair, makeup, and cosmetics.

The salon is home to some of Korea's most beloved celebrities, including Son Yejin from the hit K-drama “Crash Landing On You”, and Park Shin-hye from this year’s K-drama “Doctor Slump.”

“K-Beauty Hangout” is organized in celebration of the “Korea Beauty Festival 2024” happening in Seoul from May 31 to June 30!

The festival is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (MCST), KTO, and Visit Korea Committee.

The premier event will showcase the best of K-Beauty, featuring experiential booths tailored for foreign tourists, tourism product sales, and a diverse array of K-culture events. The celebration is not just about K-beauty and K-fashion but aims to explore and let visitors experience K-medical–health and wellness--too.

Seoul travelers can participate in different showrooms and celebrity-inspired make-up experiences which can be found in different attractions in Seoul–Gwanghamun, Gangnam, Myeongdong, and Seongsu. For interested participants in the K-medical experience, day tour tickets can be purchased online.
