Korea's Hyundai-Dongah Joint Venture donates goods to Alabang fire victims
Hyundai-Dongah Joint Venture (HDJV), the main contractor of the South Commuter Railway Project (SCRP) Contract Package (CP) Section 04, donated relief goods to residents of Barangay Alabang who were affected by a fire that happened on March 17.
The donations, consisting of rice, canned goods, noodles and biscuits, were turned over to Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon on March 22.

Biazon received the relief packages and thanked the HDJV headed by their Project Director Hyung Tae Jeong.
The fire on March 17 started at about 4:48 a.m. and spread to houses in Joaquin, Bautista and Mariategue Compounds in Alabang. The fire lasted nearly five hours and was put out at 9:42 a.m.
The affected families are now staying at two evacuation sites: Alabang Elementary School and Pedro E. Diaz High School. There were 963 families affected by the fire as of this writing.
“Please accept our humble donation and sincerest sympathies for the victims of the fire that happened in Alabang. HDJV is always ready to extend a helping hand to those in need. We have good relations with Barangay Alabang because of our Project that will benefit the Philippines especially the residents of Muntinlupa. We want to show our support to the community and the City of Muntinlupa,” said Jeong.

He added, “This also our belated birthday gift to Mayor Ruffy Biazon. Because we know how dedicated he is to the City of Muntinlupa, he would appreciate aid for his constituents instead of any material gift or celebration."
Biazon thanked HDJV for the donations.
"Thank you very much to HDJV for this donation that will help the fire victims in Alabang. You can rest assured that the City of Muntinlupa is giving full support to the South Commuter Railway Project, " said Biazon.
