Aboitiz Power subsidiary feted as top taxpayer in Laguna

SANTA CRUZ, Laguna -- Aboitiz Power Corp. subsidiary AP Renewables Inc. was named by the province of Laguna as one of its top taxpayers.

APRI bagged the award after it was nominated by its host municipalities.

APRI was feted by the province of Laguna for being one of its top taxpayers recently. Company President Jeffrey Estrella received the award from Gov. Ramil Hernandez (third from left). The awarding was witnesses by representatives from the local government unit and APRI.

Company President Jeffrey Estrella said that they are honored with the recognition and the opportunity to be a positive contributor to the community, both as a responsible taxpayer and a provider of clean baseload power from geothermal sources.

APRI operates two facilities in Tiwi, Albay, and Bay and Calauan, Laguna and Santo Tomas, Batangas.
