TIAONG, Quezon – A 40-year-old street food vendor was stabbed dead during an argument over a motorcycle without headlights on Wednesday night, March 20, in Sitio Gitna, Barangay San Francisco, this town.
Police identified the victim as Henry.
Investigation said Henry was walking and blocked the way of the suspect Gerald, 30, who was driving a motorcycle without headlights.
A heated argument ensued and in the middle of the dispute, the suspect ran towards his house and obtained a knife.
Gerald stabbed the victim multiple times and the suspect’s companion, Paulo, 26, arrived and they fled toward San Antonio, Quezon, onboard the motorcycle, and brought the murder weapon with them.
The victim was taken to the Peter Paul Hospital in Candelaria, Quezon where he was declared dead.
Gerald faces murder complaint and police are hunting him and Paulo.
