PRO-Cordillera nabs 60 wanted persons

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Police caught 60 wanted persons in the Cordillera region from March 10 to 16.

The Police Regional Office-Cordillera said the Baguio City Police Office arrested 29, the Benguet Police Provincial Office,  12; Kalinga PPO, eight; Ifugao PPO, five; Abra PPO, three; Mountain Province PPO, two, and Apayao PPO, one.

Seven of those apprehended were most wanted persons.

Fifty-eight municipalities reported zero crime incidents throughout the week as a result of the PRO-Cordillera's proactive policing strategies.

No crimes were recorded in 24 municipalities in Abra, nine in Ifugao, eight in Mountain Province, six each in Apayao and Kalinga, and five in Benguet.

Of the 10 police station in Baguio, the Naguilian Police Station 1 and Aurora Hill Police Station 6 recorded zero crime incidents during the same period.

The PRO-Cordillera said they remain steadfast in its mission to uphold the rule of law and ensure the safety and security of the community.
