Pasay City receives basketball donation from Samahang Basketbolista ng Pilipinas

The Pasay City government received 30 basketballs from the Samahang Basketbolita ng Pilipinas (SBP) on Wednesday, March 20.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the basketballs were used by international and National Basketball Association (NBA) players during the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) qualifiers held in the country in 2019.

Rubiano said the donation aims to inspire youths in the city to play basketball. 

The daughter of Rubiano, Le Anne Calixto-Rubiano, together with City Administrator Peter Manzano and Chief of Staff Peter Pardo, received the donation.
