PAGASA records 'dangerous' heat indices in two areas
Dangerous heat index may be felt in La Union for two consecutive days
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Thursday, March 21 said “dangerous” heat indices were recorded in La Union and Cotabato City, Maguindanao.

PAGASA said a heat index of 46°C was felt in La Union where heat cramps and heat exhaustion were “likely” to be experienced.
The weather bureau also warned the public in areas with a heat index of 42-51°C that heat stroke is possible if doing activities is continuous.
Based on the heat index forecast in the next two days, PAGASA said a dangerous heat index of 46°C may be felt in La Union.
