DOH supports Quezon City's policy to display food calorie counts on restaurant menus
The Department of Health (DOH) on Thursday, March 21 said it supports the Quezon City local government’s directive to entail the display of the amount of calories in food among restaurants.

DOH in a statement said the ordinance will help the public choose what “healthy” food should be taken in.
The department also advised Filipinos to have a “balanced, well-moderated, and varied” diet.
It also suggested having less intake of processed foods and those with high calories, while having enough physical exercises.
