Cops arrest 3rd most wanted person in QC

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) announced the arrest of the third most wanted person of the Fairview Police Station (PS 5) on Thursday, March 21.

PS 5 Station Commander Lt. Col. Resty Damaso identified the suspect as Norgel Sanoria, 32, a resident of West Fairview, Quezon City.

The suspect was arrested in his residence at around 10:25 a.m., on Wednesday, March 20.

Sanoria has a pending Warrant of Arrest for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 issued by the Presiding Judge of Branch 218, Regional Trial Court (RTC), National Capital Judicial Region, Quezon City.

The court that issued the warrant will be informed about the suspect's arrest, police said.

QCPD Director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan commended the PS PS 5 operatives for their successful apprehension of the most wanted person.

“Walang humpay na operasyon ang ating isasagawa upang mapanatili ang katahimikan at kaayusan sa ating lungsod (We will continue to conduct relentless operations to maintain peace and order in our city),” he said.
