600 cops tapped to secure Baguio this Holy Week

BAGUIO CITY – Around 600 policemen and volunteers will be deployed to ensure the safety and security of residents and tourists this Holy Week here.

The Baguio City Police Office is expecting a significant increase of visitors as the Holy Week approaches.

The BCPO said personnel will be strategically positioned in major thoroughfares, worship areas, and places of convergence.

Police Assistance Desks (PADs) will be set up across Baguio to provide immediate assistance to motorists and pedestrians. 

Lawmen urged motorists passing through this city to use the Bakasyon Lane that seeks to streamline traffic flow on main roads and enhance overall accessibility. 

The BCPO reminded residents to secure their homes before leaving.
