PDEA nets P7.2-M marijuana in Benguet

TUBA, Benguet – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency seized marijuana valued at P7.2 million from a suspected drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Camp 4 here on Wednesday, March 20.

The suspect was identified as Arnel Guidayos, 26, of Kibungan, Benguet.

Guidayos yielded 60 marijuana bricks weighing one kilo each placed inside three sacks.

The PDEA Region 4-A received information that Guidayos was willing to meet up and sell high-grade marijuana.

The PDEA Region 4-A coordinated with the PDEA-Cordillera and launched an operation that led to the arrest of the suspect.

The suspect faces a drug-related case and the confiscated marijuana will be turned over to the Philippine National Police-Crime Laboratory in Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet for examination.
