Parañaque LGU holds annual GAD planning, budget formulation

The Parañaque City government conducted the annual Gender and Development planning (GAD) and budget formulation for year 2025 at Mella Hotel in Las Piñas City on Thursday, March 21 to 22.

Mayor Eric Olivarez led the planning session which was participated in by members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, City Development Council, GAD Focal Point System, Committee on Appropriation, barangay chairmen from the city’s 16 barangays, and city department heads led by City Administrator Atty. Voltaire Dela Cruz.

Olivarez said the annual meeting takes place to discuss plans, programs, and activities including the GAD budget in response to various issues being experienced by residents.

He emphasized to the participants the importance of maximizing and utilizing properly the funds allocated to GAD and the priority projects of the city government aimed at uplifting the living conditions of its residents.
