'Kahit bashers kayo, tutulungan namin kayo': PCSO vows equal assistance for all

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) vowed on Wednesday, March 20, to provide equal assistance to the public, including the agency’s “bashers.”

"At higit sa lahat ang PCSO po ay tutulong, hindi po kami umuurong sa pagtulong kahit sa bashers (And above all, the PCSO is here to help, we do not back down from helping, even to bashers)," PCSO General Manager Mel Robles during the “Kapihan sa Manila Hotel” forum.
As it celebrates its 90th anniversary, the PCSO assured the public that it will remain committed to its purpose of providing assistance to those in need.
With 30 percent of its total earnings allocated to charity, 55 percent to the prize fund, and 15 percent to the operating system, the PCSO reaffirms its dedication to its mission.
"The PCSO is celebrating its 90th anniversary," Robles said in Filipino.
"Throughout this time, we have been known for our philanthropy in all sectors, and never once has its integrity been tainted, because this is truly our cornerstone," he added.
"And the continued patronage of our fellow citizens is proof," Robles pointed out.
He reiterated that the agency will remain cooperative in any investigations, saying "There's no problem with that, just give us a chance to be heard, that's all we ask."
