'It's Showtime' teases good news; netizens think noontime program will transfer to GMA Network

Netizens think "It's Showtime" will occupy the time slot vacated by "Pinakamasayang Tahanan" (formerly known as Eat Bulaga), which ended its run recently.

The popular noontime program' It's Showtime' left its fans in suspense with a cryptic post on its Facebook account on March 19, hinting at exciting developments.

While the post didn't reveal any specifics, the fan community of the noontime show is buzzing with anticipation, speculating that the program might be making a move to GMA Network.

Netizens think "It's Showtime" will occupy the time slot vacated by "Pinakamasayang Tahanan" (formerly known as Eat Bulaga), which ended its run recently.

For 14 years, "It's Showtime" was broadcast by ABS-CBN. It is hosted by Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, Vhong Navarro, Karylle, Amy Perez, Ogie Alcasid, Ion Perez, and more.

Speculation is rife on social media about a possible contract signing between GMA Network and ABS-CBN, with rumors suggesting it might take place at Studio 7 of the Kapuso Network today, March 20, 2024, at 4 p.m.

"Tahanang Pinakamasaya" debuted on July 1, 2023. It replaced Eat Bulaga!, which transferred to TV5 on May 31, 2023. When "Pinakamasaya" premiered on GMA, it was named "Eat Bulaga." However, the program's name was changed to "Tahanang Pinakamasaya" after the court ruled that Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon owned the "Eat Bulaga!" brand.

It was on July 1, 2023. when "It's Showtime" transferred from TV5 to GMA's GTV Channel.
