Woman dies in Malabon City fire

A 24-year-old woman reportedly died in a fire that broke out at a residential area on A. Bonifacio St. Barangay Tugatog, Malabon City on Wednesday, March 20.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire was raised to the first alarm at 7:06 a.m. and it escalated to the 2nd alarm at 7:16 a.m.

The blaze was declared under control at 7:57 a.m. and was extinguished at 8:12 a.m.

As of this writing, firefighters have yet to determine the estimated damage to property and the cause of the blaze.
