Decomposing human torso found in Silang, Cavite

CAVITE â€“ A decomposing human torso was found in a canal along the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), in a segment within the jurisdiction of Barangay Kaong, Silang on Monday, March 18.

According to the Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO), Silang Municipal Police Station (MPS) got a report from CALAX personnel about the incident.

A photo released by Cavite PPO shows a yin-yang tattoo on the torso of the unidentified individual.

The provincial office has directed the Silang MPS to utilize all available resources for the immediate identification of the victim and those behind the crime.

Silang MPS already sought assistance from the Provincial Forensic Unit as they continue to investigate the case and have coordinated with the CALAX management to backtrack its CCTV footage.

Authorities have appealed to the community to coordinate with them for any information that could help in the investigation of the case.
