Brownlee, who earlier got the clearance from the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas and PBA mother team Barangay Ginebra to play overseas, bolstered a team that features local stars Andakara Prastawa and American-Indonesian Brandon Jawato.

The stint should also bode well for the 35-year-old forward who was looking for ways to keep himself busy and in shape while waiting for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying tournament in July.

Brownlee couldn’t play in the PBA as of the moment as the league is staging the Season 48 Philippine Cup to be followed immediately by the next season’s all-Filipino conference.

Aside from McDaniels and Robinson, Brownlee is also set to play with former NBA players Malachi Richardson and JaQuori McLaughlin and Indonesian national team naturalized import Anthony Bean.

Currently sporting a 7-1 record, Brownlee is set for his debut on Saturday, March 23 against Rans SIMBA Bogor.
